Something’s always cooking (literally and figuratively) at the headquarters of Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer. Keeps us focused on our favorite subject: good food for a good cause.

Working at our charity has been an amazing way for us to meet some of the most creative and talented people in the New England community.

We are always overwhelmed by the awesome generosity and willingness of the people of the Commonwealth to give of themselves, their time as well as their willingness to share their hearts and personal stories with us. Must come from our Colonial spirit as the state that truly provides for the common wealth of its citizens. There are so many generous, interesting people in our towns and neighborhoods and we are honored to be able to meet them.

So we decided, hey- let’s create an online newsletter about our experiences! Why not share the faces and stories and places and people we meet with the people we care about? We might even post everybody’s grandma’s or bubbe’s secret recipes, healthy eating ideas that people swear to us taste good, local restaurant reviews from locavores, party tips for busy Moms and Dads from busy Moms and Dads. We could even have a Kids Corner for those entrepreneurial ‘tweens we all know and love.

And since we’re always working with restaurants and Chefs, we thought it’d be a great idea to see if we couldn’t get our subscribers an ‘off menu dish’ at some of their favorite places, or maybe a discount or two. Stay tuned on that note.
